Eddie Redmayne stars as the titular assassin known as the Jackal in this new reimagining of the 1971 novel of the same name by Frederick Forsyth that arrived to Peacock this week. The series co-stars Lashana Lynch as a British intelligence officer named Bianca whose job is to thwart the Jackal’s attempt on the life of a tech entrepreneur.

It’s set to be another huge week of new movies across the best streaming services with Netflix, Disney Plus and Hulu among the platforms with new blockbuster films for subscribers to enjoy. Plus, several fresh-from-the-theater flicks arrive on premium streaming as well.

Some weeks it’s difficult to come up with as many as five decent options for what’s upcoming on the best streaming services to be able to fill a story. And there are weeks like this one where there’s so much interesting stuff coming soon to Netflix alone that it could fill a whole story if we wanted it to.
