The president promised to “marshal all federal resources” to fight “the explosion of antisemitism on our campuses and streets” since Oct. 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel.

"We will find you, and will deport you," the administration warns, telling agencies to use all available tools against perpetrators of antisemitic harassment and violence, and "Hamas sympathizers."

Civil rights groups and legal scholars said the new measure would violate constitutional free speech rights and would likely draw legal challenges.

Critics say the directive won't actually stop antisemitism, but will target immigrants while cracking down on free speech.

President Trump is expected to sign an executive order which would deport non-American college students who participated in pro-Palestine rallys.
