Intel will shut down its small automotive business and lay off the majority of the workers in that segment, the latest step in the chipmaker’s dramatic downsizing.

As the platform matures, Intel's Core Ultra 7 265K is certainly a lot better than when it first debuted way back in October of 2024.

Intel has dominated the CPU market for decades, selling processors based on an architecture the chipmaker owns, called x86. Today, the computing ecosystem is fragmenting as new standards emerge.

According to a leaked Intel presentation slide, a 12-core Bartlett Lake S Intel CPU is in the works, with no E-Cores and Core 2 branding.

The Core 2 Duo, the more budget-friendly option, is inspired by the Pebble 2, according to Migicovsky in the announcement post. It boasts a 1.26-inch (144 x 168) monochrome e-paper display.

The new Pebble Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2 are modelled after the Pebble 2 from 2016 and the Pebble Time 2 from 2017.

The Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2 are two watches that run Pebble OS and have up to 30 days of battery life. They won't be available for long.
