After losing both corners of his infield to injury during Monday's 10-0 road win over the Chicago White Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo told reporters after the game that star outfielder Corbin Carroll has a chip fracture in his left wrist.

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is hopeful that his current stint on the injured list is of the short-term variety, the All-Star told reporters.

Carroll suffered the injury last week after being hit in the hand during a game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He left the game after the top of the eighth inning and postgame X-rays were negative.
