The U.S. Coast Guard has called off the search for the five missing crew members aboard the F-V Wind Walker, the capsized fishing vessel, off the Alaska coast.

The search for the family was launched in August after a report came in that a 28-foot (8.5-meter) aluminum boat carrying eight people had begun taking on water, the U.S. Coast Guard said at the time.
