Former Las Vegas police captain and current Maui County Police Chief John Pelletier will not be put on administrative leave after he was named in a new lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Pelletier served in the Metropolitan Police Department for 22 years, rising to the rank of captain, before he left and took a job in 2021 as chief of the Maui Police Department in Hawaii.
