One suspect was injured in a shooting with police officers in Aurora on Thanksgiving night in the 900 block of South Dawson Way.

Aurora police found officer Michael Dieck did not violate department policy when he shot and killed Kilyn Lewis in May.

AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) - At least three people were shot at a neighborhood park in Aurora over the weekend. According to police, the investigation began at 2:15 Sunday morning when a gunshot victim walked into a local ER.

Aurora police shot and injured a man on Thanksgiving night after he opened fire on officers responding to reports of gunshots. The suspect, who was hospitalized with serious injuries, is expected to survive.

Upon arrival, paramedics said that the officer was shot in his left side. He was taken to Loyola Medical Center in critical condition. The suspect was shot in the leg and was taken into custody. He is also being treated at Loyola.

An Oak Park police officer was shot and critically injured Friday morning, after a person was seen leaving a bank with a gun, police said.
