After year after the statue's dedication was announced, the Dave Winfield statue has finally been posted along 2nd Avenue.

The 64th World Eskimo-Indian Olympics kicked off Wednesday at the Carlson Center in Fairbanks, bringing together athletes from Alaska and beyond to compete in traditional Native games.
