The Birmingham Police Department said 51-year-old Wilbert Reynolds Jr. and 54- year-old Dexter Jemison were charged with Capital Murder (Victim inside Vehicle) in connection to the shooting death of Juan Chapman.
Vivian Simone Brantley, 24, is charged with murder in the slaying of 47-year-old Damian Dawson, a father of five. Brantley surrendered to police hours after Dawson was killed and booked into the Birmingham City Jail. The warrant against her was issued Wednesday by Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.

A Birmingham man was found dead in a wooded area in east Alabama. Lincoln police on Tuesday identified the man as Bobby Beverly. He was 59. The discovery was made Thursday in the woods line near the 200 block of England Road after authorities were notified of a body found. Officers and firefighters arrived and pronounced Beverly dead.
