Traveling after Thanksgiving may be a bit more turbulent than before, as a cross-country storm will bring snow to millions.

Rain showers and gusty wind will continue through early afternoon as a cold front moves through the region. Behind the front, colder air arrives, and any rain showers will mix with and change to snow showers by mid to late afternoon. Daytime snow accumulation looks to be a half inch or less, but watch for slick spots–especially beyond sunset.
