Many animal names have undergone verbification, or turned from nouns into verbs. To parrot is to “repeat by rote” without understanding, for example.
This is confusing, considering it's conventional to use nouns for variables and verbs for functions. What should GlenH7 do, and how can programmers avoid noun/verb naming problems in the future?
