Massachusetts could see hazy skies throughout the day Monday as wildfire smoke from Canada drifts into the Bay State. The smoke prompted National Weather Service forecasters to issue an Air Quality Alert blanketing the entire state, warning that the air may be unhealthy for sensitive groups.

An elevated flooding risk persists on Sunday for some parts of the Southeast as Alabama, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle brace for heavy rainfall.

An air quality advisory was sent out to New Yorkers for Monday, when smoke from wildfires in Canada is expected to reach the state
