George Springer hit two two-run home runs and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees 8-5 on Thursday night to complete a four-game sweep and take sole possession of the AL East lead.

Beeter walked Will Wagner to start the Blue Jays fourth and it led to two runs when Davis Schneider singled to put two on with nobody out, Leo Jimenez bunted both runners up and Nathan Lukes doubled them home to make it a 5-3 ballgame.
