Many North Texas counties are under a winter storm warning, which means they could receive up to five inches of snow, according to the national weather service.

Very few people were braving the wintry weather at White Rock Lake Park on Thursday morning. A handful of joggers, bicyclists and dog walkers circled the lake as freezing rain and snow fell in the area.
