Gov. Greg Abbott added Rep. Cody Harris’ groundwater protection bill to the second special session agenda as lawmakers weigh the potential impacts of large-scale exports from East Texas aquifers.
After the Texas House passed a Congressional redistricting bill Wednesday, Gov. Greg Abbott announced that he was adding new legislation to the call for the second special legislative session.
House Bill 7 is part of a larger effort by Republicans to stop the flow of abortion pills into Texas from out-of-state prescribers and manufacturers.
