The National Weather Service predicts Columbia, South Carolina will be mostly clear with a high near 62 degrees at the start of the game on Saturday, the dipping into the 50s by game’s end. ESPN’s Football Power Index gives South Carolina a 99% chance to win the game.

South Carolina, which finished its SEC season at 5-3, wants to keep its momentum going into the much bigger finale on Nov. 30 when it plays at rival Clemson. Wofford has had its most wins since going 8-4 in 2019 and can reach .500 if it pulls off the colossal upset.

South Carolina is 5-0 all-time against the Wofford Terriers. This will be the first matchup between the two schools since a 31-10 Gamecocks victory in 2017.
