Patrick Marleau had his jersey retired by the San Jose Sharks in 2023, and now, two seasons later, he gets to share the rafters of SAP Center with Joe Thornton.

Joe Thornton lifted up the Sharks and the people around the team. Now, they get to return the favor, lifting his jersey to the SAP Center rafters.

Thornton and Marleau were on the ice together again Friday for the Legends Game in front of thousands of fans at a sold-out Tech CU Arena. They were joined by familiar Sharks names of yesteryear like Joe Pavelski, Dan Boyle, Dany Heatley and Evgeni Nabokov.
