On Friday evening, Trump announced he was nominating Russ Vought as director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.

Trump named Vought, who played a central role in designing Project 2025, to head up the Office of Management and Budget in his second term.

If confirmed, this will be Russ Vought's second time as OMB director. He authored a chapter of Project 2025, a conservative blueprint for a GOP administration.
