Wipro Limited has announced Omkar Nisal's appointment as the Chief Executive Officer, Europe Strategic Market Unit (SMU), effective immediately. Omkar will report to CEO and MD Srini Pallia and will also join the Wipro Executive Board.

Wipro has promoted Omkar Nisal to CEO of its Europe strategic market unit, succeeding Pierre Bruno. Based in London, Nisal joins Wipro's executive board and will oversee growth in Europe.

Nisal, who will also become a part of the Wipro executive board, will report directly to the company CEO and MD Srini Pallia.
