A man was shot Wednesday afternoon on busy Clark Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.The shooting happened right before sunset on the east side of Clark Street in the 2400 block.The Chicago Fire Department said one man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.

A man shot in Sacramento’s Parkway neighborhood about one week ago died Sunday from his wounds, police said. Officers were called just before 3 a.m. Nov. 16 to the 3000 block of Shining Star Drive for reports of a shooting.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, a man, 40 sustained two gunshot wounds while on Clark Street, just north of Fullerton Avenue. He was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and was initially listed in critical condition.
