Tennessee has sent 160 National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., as President Donald Trump and the White House continue to push their crime fighting directive.
Gov. Jeff Landry said he was sending 135 members of the Louisiana National Guard to Washington D.C. as part of President Donald Trump's federal crackdown on crime in the city.
The moves came as protesters pushed back on federal law enforcement and National Guard troops fanning out in the heavily Democratic city following President Donald Trump’s executive order.
The Post mapped locations of law enforcement throughout D.C. in the days since Trump’s announcement to deploy the Guard.
