The car bombing outside a California fertility clinic that killed one person and injured four others appears to have been driven by anti-natalist ideology, according to two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the incident.

The FBI identified a person of interest in an explosion that killed one and injured four near the American Reproductive Centers in Palm Springs.

An FBI official said on Sunday the bureau believes it has identified the suspect connected to a bombing near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, as 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, and that he held "nihilistic" views.
