According to a report from Fox Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Kansas City is signing former Pro Bowl offensive tackle D.J. Humphries. The 30-year-old offensive lineman who played collegiately at Florida has started 98 career games in eight NFL seasons, all of which came with the Arizona Cardinals.

It's no secret the Chiefs have been more rickety than their 9-1 record would suggest, and the play of current starting left tackle Wanya Morris has been an issue. The 2023 third-rounder is ranked by Pro Football Focus as the 62nd-best offensive tackle in the NFL out of 77 players.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs are signing left tackle D.J. Humphries to a one-year deal. The contract, per Rapoport, was negotiated by Humphries's agency, AMDG Sports, and pays him $2 million with a maximum value of $4.5 million.
