July 5 (UPI) -- Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited their band Oasis in Cardiff, Wales, Friday night. The Gallaghers ended their 16-year hiatus, performing songs like "Hello," "Acquiesce," "Some Might Say," "Morning Glory" and "Wonderwall," in front of 75,000 fans at the Cardiff Principality Stadium, according to TMZ.

After kicking off with two nights in Cardiff, Oasis will head to Manchester for five nights at Heaton Park on 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 July. They will then play the following dates: They will then fly to Toronto, Canada, to begin the international leg of their tour before it wraps up on 23 November in São Paulo, Brazil.

The sweepstakes for their opening song proper was won by anyone who plumped for “Hello,” but “Acquiesce,” the song that followed after, was the song that felt like a proper return. With Noel and Liam sharing main vocals it was the moment that all of this became real, the pair of them together again, doing what they do best. Spine-tingling stuff.
