The Tennessee Titans fell, 29-7, in their preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium, spoiling Cam Ward's NFL debut.

Cam Ward's pro debut was solid, if unspectacular. The first overall pick in this year's NFL draft completed five of eight passes for 67 yards, but more importantly was composed and looked comfortable running Tennessee's offense in the Titans' 29-7 preseason-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday night.

Ward started slow, going 0-for-2 on his first drive of the night, but he settled in nicely during his second drive. Ward completed five passes on the Titans' first touchdown drive of the night, finding Calvin Ridley three times to move the offense down the field.
