The Boston Red Sox entered the offseason with some questions at the catcher position. Connor Wong was preparing for another season as the team's No. 1 catcher, but the backup posiiton was up in the air.

The Boston Red Sox are getting a much-needed catching boost. Connor Wong has been activated from the 10-day injured list, after being sidelined with a lefty pinky fracture, the team’s official X account announced:

After fewer than four weeks on the injured list, Connor Wong is back with the Red Sox on Friday night. A backup catcher was sent back to Triple-A.
