Already running low on pitching, the New York Mets have added starter Paul Blackburn and reliever Dedniel Núñez to a crowded injured list in their latest flurry of roster moves.

Amid a series of roster moves Thursday, the New York Mets placed right-hander Paul Blackburn on the 15-day injured list because of a shoulder impingement. The move is retroactive to Sunday. The Mets also placed right-hander Dedniel Nunez on the 15-day IL with an elbow sprain,

Paul Blackburn (shoulder impingement) and Dedniel Núñez (right elbow sprain) were placed on the 15-day injured list before Thursday’s finale against the Brewers at Citi Field.
