After considerable delays, which seems to be the norm nowadays, Emirates finally took delivery of its first of 65 Airbus A350-900s on November 25. The aircraft, which is registered A6-EXA, left Toulouse at 17:00 and, following an unusual route, arrived in Dubai 7h 17m later at 03:17 local time the next day.

Gulf carrier Emirates will bring forward its daily A350 scheduled service to Edinburgh. It will kick off the new year with A350 Edinburgh flights from 3 January 2025. Emirates A350 service will also be rolled out to eight other destinations including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kuwait, Bahrain, Colombo, Lyon, Muscat and Bologna, with more to follow.

Middle Eastern carrier Emirates has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900, one of 65 which will be introduced by the operator. The twinjet (A6-EXA) departed Toulouse for Dubai at around 17:00 on 25 November.

Emirates took delivery on Monday of its first long-delayed Airbus A350-900 widebody jet in Toulouse, marking the first new aircraft model to join its fleet of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s since 2008.
