All branches of the US Postal Service (USPS) will be closed for one full day next week in observance of an annual holiday. The closure is due to President's Day, which falls on February 17. Originally a national recognition of George Washington's birthday,

Presidents Day – celebrated this year on Monday, Feb. 17 – is a federal holiday, meaning all government offices are closed, including the U.S. Postal Service and all post office branches. No mail will be delivered on that day, though FedEX and UPS will be offering service on a modified schedule.

While the USPS scheduled out 11 holidays for 2025, additional days may be added to account for days of mourning and other exceptions.
