Ran Carthon's tenure as the Tennessee Titans' general manager came to an end on Tuesday. The decision to part ways with the second-year executive came two days after the team finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record and a combined 9-25 the past two years.

Following Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk's decision to fire general manager Ran Carthon on Tuesday, the Titans have begun the process of reaching out to candidates to replace Carthon.

A former Tennessee Vols player is reportedly the leading candidate to become the Tennessee Titans' new general manager. According a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini, former Vols linebacker Reggie McKenzie is considered (by Russini) to be the lead candidate to replace Ran Carthon as the Titans' general manager.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Titans moved to dismiss Ran Carthon from his general manager duties. Tennessee is a franchise in turmoil after moving on from Carthon after two seasons.
