With just days to go before Nintendo Switch 2 finally releases on June 5, Nintendo has revamped its Nintendo Switch Online app, kicking off with a new name: Nintendo Switch App.

The Nintendo Switch Online app will be renamed the Nintendo Switch App in late May 2025. The updated app will offer new features like Zelda Notes and access to Switch 2 captures.
