In a visit to Nashville ahead of the Club World Cup, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said the city could be a candidate to host the Women's World Cup in 2031.

"With the NFL Draft and Stanley Cup and Leagues Cup Final and now (the Club World Cup), the city consistently shows that if you bring an event to Nashville, Nashville will show up," Ayre said.
