The San Antonio Spurs were hanging on by a thread in the Western Conference Playoffs race. The Portland Trail Blazers cut that last thread by serving the Spurs a 120-109 loss that officially eliminates them from the NBA Playoffs.

Entering Sunday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers, the San Antonio Spurs were five games behind the Sacramento Kings for the last spot in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. In theory, if the Spurs won all of their games and the Kings lost all of theirs, the Spurs would be able to make the Play-In.

Toumani Camara had 23 points and 11 rebounds and the Portland Trail Blazers held off a late rally by the San Antonio Spurs for a 120-109 victory
