Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov, of Scottsdale, Arizona, left a Diet Coke and a coconut for the reclusive Sentinelese people, police said.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands police said Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov took an inflatable boat to North Sentinel Island with a Diet Coke and a coconut as offerings.

An estimated 100–200 uncontacted Indigenous tribes are believed to still exist around the world, arguably the most famous of which are the internationally protected, voluntarily isolated Sentinelese people.
