Nick Pope, who investigated UFOs for the Ministry of Defence (MoD), told Metro that Joe McMoneagle’s claims would be ‘interesting if true’.

Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence employee who worked on the UFO desk, suggested that the friends were likely given a "fairly robust" warning to prevent them from divulging more details.
