The 2024 November general election is underway. The state has 13 U.S. House seats to be decided on Nov. 5 but only a handful of those are expected to be competitive, starting with open seats in mid-Michigan and around the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area.

Here are Michigan’s county-by-county results in the presidential election. Elissa Slotkin, who has represented mid-Michigan in Congress since 2019, faces off against Mike Rogers, who was a U.S. House representative from 2001 to 2015. They’re vying for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by retiring Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow.

President-elect Donald Trump won Michigan by about 80,000 votes in November as the state saw the greatest voter turnout in state history at more than 5.7 million ballots cast, according to state election results certified unanimously Friday by the Michigan Board of State Canvassers.

The canvassers' meeting inside the Michigan Senate's Binsfeld Office Building lasted about 90 minutes and cemented former President Trump's victory of 1.4 percentage points, 49.7%-48.3%, over the incumbent vice president.
