Google has announced a suite of new features designed to transform how we experience the world through its Earth and Maps platforms.

For people who want to explore other places in the world today, Google is launching what it calls one of the biggest updates to Street View yet -- new street-view imagery from nearly 80 countries. This update lets users view more content in those countries taken by Google's Street View cars and trekkers.

A handful of updates are coming to Google Maps and Google Earth, including more imagery across popular and less visited locations, and fewer clouds and haze in satellite pictures -- all thanks to AI.
