Netflix is searching for its next Laura Ingalls Wilder for their upcoming reboot of Little House on the Prairie, which goes into production this year.

The production will hold a national casting search for girls 9-11 years old to fill the role originated by Melissa Gilbert.

Netflix and showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine ("The Boys," "Vampire Diaries") are creating an adaptation of  Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House books.
