The Las Vegas Raiders reached an agreement to re-sign defensive end Malcolm Koonce to a one-year, $12 million deal, a person with knowledge of the contract said Monday.

However, the Raiders were able to retain one of their top free agents. It was reported on Monday that the team had signed defensive end Malcolm Koonce to a one-year, $12 million contract. Koonce didn't play a game in 2024 due to an injury that happened right before the start of the regular season but he showed a lot of promise in 2023.

Koonce enters his fifth season with the Raiders after originally being selected by the club in the third round (79th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.
