There are two campgrounds at Lake Owyhee State Park, located just across a small cove from one another. ... The McCormack Creek Campground is open seasonally, from April 15 to Oct. 31.

The park has two different, well-maintained camping areas: the McCormack Campground (open from April 10 to October 30) and the Indian Creek Campground (open from November 1 through April 9).

At Wallowa Lake State Park near Joseph, a few sites stay open year round. Loop A showers and restrooms open April 15; additional loops, showers and restrooms open as weather allows.
