The Golden State Warriors have looked to sign-and-trade restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga "but haven't gained any traction" on a deal, The Athletic's Fred Katz reported on Friday.

Roughly one month into the beginning of free agency, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga remains on the market as a restricted free agent. There is still plenty of time until the start of next season, but it is interesting that the 22-year-old still needs to find a home for the 2025-26 campaign.

According to ESPN's Anthony Slater, who was speaking via ESPN 1320 Sacramento, Kuminga has already held talks with the Kings front office and has been interested in the role on offer, along with the overall pitch. Slater also noted that Kuminga is more focused on the on-court role he will receive, rather than the monetary value of his next deal.
