Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is meeting in Geneva with his counterparts from Britain, France, Germany and the E.U. in an effort to end the weeklong conflict with Israel.

Iran is ready to consider diplomacy if Israel's attacks stop, the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said after a meeting with the E3 and the EU in Geneva Friday, according a statement posted on Iranian state media. In the meantime, Iran will continue to exercise its legitimate right to self-defense, Araghchi said.

President Donald Trump says it is "very hard" to request Israel stop attacking Iran right now. "If somebody is winning, it's a little bit harder to do than if somebody is losing," he said.
