Galveston flash explosion: 5 injured, including three burn victims near shipping terminal
Chief Mike Varela with the Galveston Fire Department says multiple people were injured after a flash explosion near the Texas International Terminals. So far, five people have been confirmed injured. The explosion was reported around 2:48 p.m. in the 4800 block of Harborside Drive. When the fire department arrived, the fire was no longer there.
