The main entrance to the stadium, on Yawkey Way, is a sight to behold, with "FENWAY PARK" etched in red stone above the colorful banners celebrating Beantown's salad days a century or so ago.

The gridiron will remain so the ballpark can host next month’s Wasabi Bowl between two yet-to-be-announced college teams.
