The sounding rockets released vapor tracers and pressure sensors at different altitudes across central and northern Alaska during a sudden auroral substorm.

The 2 Street Gallery in downtown Fairbanks celebrated its 13-year anniversary last Friday. The gallery consists of artwork by 25 local artists, including watercolor artist Vladimir Zhikhartsev.
