Known as the "third son" of Dhirubhai Ambani, Jain shares a lifelong friendship with Mukesh Ambani, the billionaire leader of Reliance Industries and one of India's most influential business magnates.

Reliance Industries celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Jamnagar Refinery, honouring Dhirubhai Ambani's vision and highlighting the refinery's global impact under Mukesh Ambani's leadership.

Through Reliance, Ambani’s business spans energy, retail and telecommunication. He and his brother, Anil Ambani , inherited the company after their father, Dhirubhai Ambani, died in 2002.

Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani, popularly known as Dhirubhai Ambani, was born on December 28, 1932 to Hirachand Govardhandas Ambani and Jamanaben in the village of Chorwad in Junagarh district.

Leaving his own business in Delhi to join Reliance in 1981, shortly after Mukesh Ambani returned from Stanford University, Jain has remained a steadfast partner in the company’s ascent.
