It will be a busy weekend downtown. The Detroit Lions will play the Washington Commanders at Ford Field, the Detroit Pistons will host the Phoenix Suns at Little Caesars Arena, and the Detroit Auto Show will be held at Huntington Place.

Detroit police said the public can expect an increased presence downtown Saturday for the Lions -Commanders game, the Pistons game and the Detroit Auto Show. "We're excited," Detroit Police Cmdr. Matthew Fulgenzi of the Third Precinct said in a Friday media briefing at the department's headquarters. "We have a lot going on downtown tomorrow."
