The signs are located between Mile Point 169 and 173, Eagle-Vail and West Vail, in Dowd Canyon and will display different speed limits as dependent on the current highway conditions, the agency said.

The change comes after House Enrolled Act 1461 passed during the 2025 legislative session. New speed limit signs will be installed around most of I-465 beginning on or after July 1.
