A small, single engine aircraft crashed off the end of the general aviation runway at the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Saturday afternoon according to airport officials.

A small aircraft crashed off a runway at BWI Marshall Airport on Saturday, a spokesperson confirmed. There were no “major” injuries reported to the three individuals onboard the aircraft, said Jonathan Dean, director of communications for the Maryland Aviation Administration.

A small plane crashed at BWI Airport with three on board, no major injuries. Operations at the airport remained unaffected.
