WINNIPEG -- The Winnipeg Jets were the hottest team throughout the season. Now they’ll face the St. Louis Blues, the hottest team down the stretch, in the Western Conference First Round. Game 1 is at Canada Life Centre on Saturday (6 p.m. ET; CBC, TVAS, SN, TNT, truTV, MAX, FDSNMW).

The Jets enter as heavy favorites, as expected for the league’s best team this season. But the Blues’ chances should not be discounted.

While temperatures are forecast to rise over the weekend, a whiteout will be blowing through True North Square on Saturday, as the Winnipeg Jets face the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of their first-round NHL playoffs series.
